what in the world are you living for?

Really? Have you thought about it? This world promises us so much: happiness, anything we want on credit, the praise of men and recognition, high place of leadership after "serving your time," grandeur, houses, cars, land, buildings, possessions galore...but it cannot deliver. When those promises are chased after, the result is the pursuer's disappointment, their emptiness. When you, pursuer, chase after better promises, you will be filled. Those are the promises of joy, peace, comfort, a very present help in trouble, never being in lack, having the assistance of angels, seeing and knowing Truth...even in your inward parts. These promises are found in a man. The man is Jesus Christ. The man is God. Jesus is the pursuer of your soul. He pursues your life with a zealous passion. This passionate pursuit never ends. He is always knocking, always speaking, always loving--> YOU. He longs to bring you the desires of your heart. He wants to share the delight of His promises. Jesus is not wanting to pound you on the head with a hammer for your mistakes and sins. He loves and loves perfectly.

He pursues you. All you have to do is say, "Yes."

An elderly man was in my view who had hearing aids in his ears. I told him to take them out because God has healed him. He took them out, put them both in his pocket and can hear!!!!!

The doctors told him he had 20% hearing left, but Jesus made a choice over 2,000 years ago to heal all of us. Its ours for receiving. God didn't tell me to tell this man anything. In fact, God never said do this and I'll do that. He already told me, through His Word (the Bible), that He has healed Him, so I was making that truth a manifestation in his life.

Today

Today is a new day. The dawning of this day seems to mark the days to come. What will become of me if I continue in the path I have always taken. For sure, it will be a path I have always know and is comfortable, but there will be no change. What must become of me if I am to become better is to be flexible to change...the kind of change that positively changes me.

Where does one get that change? That change comes from Jesus Christ alone, the King of every king. If I don't conform to the patern of this world and my mind is transformed, I can live victorious. Victorious over the contstant struggles this life presents and I take part in. Victory over defeat, victory over financial mountains, victory over the revolving door in life.

How about that path you're on? Does it look like one you've been down before? Does it promise new victory? Is it lit with promise at all? How about it? Would you try Jesus' life? Would you let him fill your every need, whim, and desire? This life will fulfill them, but will never fill you, nor satisfy. Allow Jesus to help you, to fulfill you to give you what you need...and give your life to Him so He can.

A Second Good Report

Cambodia: We flew from Romania through Germany to Bangkok, Thailand, on to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We (David Norton, Sonny S. Weimer, and myself and there met up with Chad) ministered for our friends, Ted and Sou Olbrich, at their leadership conference. 3812 leaders attended, and ate 18,700 lbs. of rice, 6 cows, 20 pigs, and tons of vegetables. They slept on the conference grounds in every conceivable and inconceivable place. We experienced some very intense warfare that affected us physically, but God phenomenally broke through. The nation is in an incredible revival of Holy Spirit visitation, resulting in tremendous miracles, new churches being planted, and the poor and orphans being taken care of. About 1500 people were baptized in the Holy Spirit and several hundred were healed (paralysis, deafness, and all types of supernatural healings). Hundreds were falling under the Holy Spirit's power and experiencing trances and visions. The Cambodians shared the ministry with us, ministering powerfully through the laying on of hands. Spontaneous healings, infillings, and deliverances were the norm. Just 8 years ago, none of this was happening, but now there are at least 400,000 believers and 3500 orphans in Christian orphanages. It is powerful, also, to see the miracle ministries that God is raising up among the new Cambodian believers who are healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons, and evangelizing their nation. One pastor, a completely uneducated man, is seeing miracles of Biblical proportions, with the doctors by-passing local hospitals to bring the sick to his church! What was known as "the killing fields" have become "the revival fields." Yet much remains to be done to bring a dark land under His Lordship. Vietnam: After a very intense, exhausting yet rewarding time in Cambodia, we flew to the northern part of Vietnam via Laos. Traveling with me were David Norton, Chad Chism, and Sonny S. Weimer. Sonny had had an incredible visitation, seeing the heavens over Vietnam filled like a giant dump truck. He felt like God was speaking to him--like before a giant storm, the heavens over Hanoi were full, and God was getting ready to release open heavens. Though the crowds were smaller than previously due to a strong Jezebelic attack by several rebellious leaders (they led astray 400 people), unusual healings and visitations came on all 20 pastors and leaders attending. We saw Sonny's dream come to pass in this powerful time. We will see God, by His grace and your faithful prayers, totally release the North into New Testament revival! I was blessed to have my son carry the majority of the Northern leadership seminar and I came to the realization that he is well able to be a senior leader over international teams now.
After Hanoi, we flew south with our apostolic contact, and ministered to about 60 leaders who had come from various parts of Central and Southern Vietnam. A supernatural wave of the Spirit came, releasing prayer and the manifestations of the Lord. The emphasis was on apostolic principles, ministry, and lifestyle. We are blessed to have ongoing covenant relationships with the Vietnamese leaders and Christians.

REVIVAL IN CAMBODIA
 
        Cambodia is a country that is experiencing revival! When our friends, Ted and Sou Olbrich, moved to be missionaries there about 8 years ago, they had one church with about 20 people, which was basically falling apart. Since then, they have seen about 3,000 churches planted with upwards of 400,000 believers, not to mention 100 orphan homes housing 3,500+ orphans. Only God could do something like that.
        The theme of their annual conference this year was, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit." Over 3,800 pastors and leaders attended from all over the country, most of them from rural or even tribal areas, some traveling for days in the back of trucks, standing the whole time and being jostled back and forth, and sitting on the tops of vans!  How many Americans would do that to get a touch from the Lord or a fresh Word? The majority of them slept in the open air under the same large tent that we had our meetings in. Dozens of new bathrooms had to be constructed, and meals were huge production, with people having to eat in shifts. In so many ways, it was the most powerful conference yet.
        With the people so open and hungry for the Lord, the atmosphere was charged with the power of the Spirit. Bill spoke on dominion, anointing, and living fear free. His son, David, who is close to my age, shared on pursuing the greater things of the Spirit; Ted shared on depending on the Spirit instead of natural abilities and speaking in tongues. In one session, the Holy Spirit took over, and where Sou had wanted to preach on something completely different, she began to share on shame and called up any women who had had abortions. Over a hundred came up and were set free, many falling to the ground and screaming as demons left them.
        The scope of what God did is mind boggling! Around 1,500 people received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues for the first time. Never before in the annual conferences had people received so quickly or easily -- pretty much everyone received in the Holy Spirit after just 2 altar calls. About 40 people cut off their demon strings, which the former Cambodians Buddhists believe will protect them and have strong fear of getting rid of. By the end, all the people were saying that they couldn't wait to go home to go out and evangelize, preaching the Gospel with the new power that they've all received.
        Hundreds received physical healings. A man who was paralyzed in his legs began to walk. God opened the ears of woman who had been completely deaf for the previous 6 months. Her hearing was at about 50% by the end of the conference, but it kept getting better and better every day. A man who was paralyzed in one leg can now walk without any problems! A young man was healed of shoulder problems, before being unable to lift anything without a lot of pain because of an accident where he had falling off a fence. The list could go on and on, but most people couldn't remember every thing that happened -- there were just too many healings.
        Other unusual manifestations took place. A number of people had trances and visions, although we don't know the details of all of them. Someone had a vision about going back to their province, preaching and evangelizing with a new power. Another person saw angels flying around in the tent. The Cambodians are just so open to the spirit world. Also, during the very last meeting, Bill had great breakthrough in preaching. Afterward, while he was praying and leading the people in spontaneous praise, David stretched his hand out toward the audience, and right in front of us, about 10 people were slain in the Spirit. Bill told me to go down and lay hands on people and several people at a time were getting slain in the Spirit, falling down like dominoes, one on top of the other.  It was one of the greatest anointings I've ever experienced.
 
POWER MINISTRIES
 
        One thing that made this year's conference so unique was most of the ministry of laying on of hands was done by leaders from the Cambodian church, as unique power ministries are starting to be raised up. A simple pastor, who comes from the area where one of my  new friends, Bun Rhet, is the leader, prayed for a man who was dead for 3 days, and the man came back to life again! This pastor said during this time, he couldn't eat or sleep -- he just wanted to pray for the man. When the man was raised from the dead, he also received healing in his legs, as before he was partially paralyzed and could only get around with a cane.
        Another pastor, a former farmer from a rural area in the north of the country, never attended school, can't write at all, and can only read his Bible. But this completely uneducated man is seeing miracles of biblical proportions. Seeing all of the sickness and mental problems in his area, he began crying out to God 6 years ago for the gift of healing to be released in his ministry, and he saw his prayer gradually answered. Especially since the beginning of this year, when he experienced a new breakthrough: people bypass the local hospitals to bring him the easy as well as really tough cases! For example, he has x-rays of one man before and after his healing, showing that he had broken his skull and pelvis in a motorcycle accident. He has seen 4 insane people healed after simply casting the demons out of each of them for about 10 minutes.
        I learned so much from hearing some of the practical aspects of how this man ministers in the miraculous. Whenever he prays for someone with a more serious problem, he usually spends some time in fasting, as he feels that God takes away his desire to eat. Often, he will bring them to stay at his place to receive more in-depth prayer, sometimes for a week or two. He places his hand on the person, and when he takes it away, sometimes there's a knowing that comes to his heart that the person has been healed.
 

OPEN HEAVENS IN VIETNAM
 
        One day while taking a nap, resting after the intense ministry, Sonny, our traveling partner, had an incredible dream. He saw the heavens over northern Vietnam and especially Hanoi, full like a giant dump truck, which with the push of a simple lever the bottom of it could open up, dumping all of its contents to the ground. Five times, he would begin to fall asleep and wake up again, startled by the same dream. He felt like God was speaking to him -- like before a giant storm, the heavens over Hanoi were full, and God was getting ready to release open heavens.
        During the 2 days of our seminar, the crowd was down, with only around 20 pastors and leaders attending, as the ministry we work with had recently gone through a Jezebel attack, with 3 leaders stealing over 400 people. Nevertheless, Sonny's dream did indeed come to pass, as the heavens opened up and the Holy Spirit come down. Bill spoke on keys to breakthrough and the lordship of Jesus, and David spoke on living in current reality, open heavens, loyalty, and being sent out by the Holy Spirit. Every person we prayed for would fall down under the power, receiving visitations from God, baptisms in the Holy Spirit, and fresh infillings.
        The second day, David felt led to start with a 20 minute sharing on healing with testimonies and called forward anyone who needed healing. About 15 of them came forward -- and every single one of them got healed! One girl had injured her elbow in a motorbike accident. I prayed for one woman had such bad headaches that she was going to stay home from the meeting. It says in Mark 6:56 that every person who touched Jesus was healed, and we are coming into those days as well, where such faith and power will be released that every person will be healed!
        In Saigon (currently called Ho Chi Minh City), we experienced even more revival.  The AGAPE network of churches is a powerful movement within Vietnam.  Their main ministry is evangelism...and that with a tenacity!  In each Sunday service, the people brought friends, and several always received the Lord as their Savior!  We had leadership training for the pastors and leaders of this great movement.  In Saigon, they came from the Central Highlands, the Mekong Delta region, and other parts of the South of Vietnam.  A great prayer anointing was released and the people began to intercede and travail for an outpouring of God's Apostolic anointing for them.  This work is a true move of God and unparalled in the USA. 
        I spent several days learning the language, interacting with people my age and also the older folks.  I loved going for coffee, especially Vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk on ice!  Oh I want to return!!!! I made so many friends and strengthened relationships.
        I prayed for one man after a church service who was having equilibrium problems.  He would get faint and also have to walk, leaning to the side to maintain balance.  He was terribly dizzy and was in pain for the entire time he was at church.  This man is a major leader in the church so I wanted to see him well.  He began to tell me his problems, but he soon shut up as I interrupted him and laid my hands on him.  (It never does any good to dwell on our problems!) As I prayed, he was totally set free from that demonic oppression.  Thank God that the name of Jesus is higher than any other name and the Blood of Jesus is greater than any devil!
        Again, thank you so much for faithfully standing with us in giving and prayer. You enable me to go to the nations and see God do all of these wonderful things. As I grow into the call on my life, I will continue to work full-time and purse the things God tells me to go after.  I am always on the mission field, winning people to Jesus.  I will return to the nations as God wills.  Walking in faith is the way to please God (Hebrews 11:6) and that's how I live!  There are opportunities for you to sow into the nations' salvation.  Do you want to support us monthly?  You can do this tax free and see blessings abound in your life.  It is because I desire fruit that may abound to your account that I present this to you.  You will be helping me and others reach the masses for JESUS!!!!
